Dante Daniel Hartl (*1994)
Dante je studentem Ateliéru malby Jiřího Černického na pražské UMPRUM, ale již od roku 2019 spolupracuje
s pražskou DSC gallery. Ve své tvorbě pracuje často
s asambláží, velkou škálou netypických materiálů a readymade objektů, které kombinuje ve svých instalacích, postkonceptuálních malbách či objektech. Často pracuje v sériích, ve kterých zpracovává různé fenomény
a tématiku protkanou dekadencí a specifickým černým humorem. Proslavily ho také divoké polaroidové série, na kterých zachycuje svůj noční život.
Pro Artmat vytvořil sérii, která překračuje fyzický formát krabičky a vytváří jakousi platformu, která má potenciál generovat sérii neřízených událostí a možností. Série Pheromones Dating (Seznamka feromonů), je inspirována formami současného randění - speed datingem, randěním naslepo, ale rozvíjí také polemiku
s převládajícím navazováním vztahů v čistě online prostředí. Vybraný vzorek deseti známých (pět můžu a pět žen různé sexuální orientace) dostalo za úkol nosit dvě až tři noci jedno triko a zachycovat tak po tuto dobu svůj tělesný pot.
Každá krabička obsahuje jeden kus látky, ve kterém je zachycen pot člověka, který hledá někoho na seznámení.
K tomuto biologickému materiálu je také přiložen malý papírek s anonymním emailem a informací, zda-li se jedná o muže, nebo ženu. Sexuální orientace není zmíněna. Nový majitel látky si k ní má přičichnout a usoudit, jestli mu pižmo daného člověka voní a případně ho může kontaktovat. Účastníci se poté sami rozhodnou, zda se odtajní - další postup závisí čistě na jejich komunikaci. Dante is a student of Jiří Černický’s Painting Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, but has been also cooperating with the Prague DSC Gallery since 2019. In his work, he often works with assemblages, a large range of atypical materials and ready-made objects, which he combines in his installations, post-conceptual paintings or objects. He often works in series in which he deals with various phenomena and themes interwoven with decadence and specific black humor. He is also famous for his wild Polaroid series depicting his own nightlife.
He created a series for Artmat that goes beyond the physical format of the box and creates a kind of platform that has the potential to generate a series of uncontrolled events and possibilities. The Pheromones Dating series is inspired by forms of contemporary dating - speed dating, blind dating, but it also starts a dialogue with the prevailing relationship starts in a purely online environment. A selected sample of ten acquaintances (five men and five women of different sexual orientations) was given the task of wearing one T-shirt for two to three nights and thus capturing their body sweat for this period of time. Ten unique samples were created from each T-shirt, which you will find in closed bags. On the other side you will find an e-mail address, on which you can contact the person if you like the sample.
