Anna Martynenko je umělkyně původem z Ukrajiny žijící v Praze, přičemž absolvovala studium architektury v Kyjevě. I přes to, že se architektuře momentálně nevěnuje, samotné studium definovalo čistou a precizní estetiku tvorby - od základního tvaru až po finální barevnost. Hlavním tématem autorčiny tvorby jsou lidé a jejich různorodé příběhy, spojené s vlastními vzpomínkami a zážitky. Častý motiv je obličej, který znázorňuje cestu hledání víry v sebe sama, dokončený tvar, dokončená myšlenka odrážející se ve tváři. Další velkou roli hrají rodinné motivy, hledání domova a klidu v jiných lidech a místech. Autorka ráda používá pastelovou škálu barev, které v ní evokují pocit klidu jehož implementaci můžeme v tvorbě cítit.
Hlavním médiem je malba, ale i instalace a vytváření kulis pro různorodé zakázky, dále se specializuje na dekoratérské práce či velkoplošnou malbu na zdi. Má za sebou práce na filmových dekoracích v Praze, v Budapešti a v Německu. Pro Artmat vytvořila malé keramické odznáčky s motivem obličejem. Každý kus je originál.
Anna Martynenko is an artist originally from Ukraine living in Prague, having studied architecture in Kiev. Despite the fact that she is not currently pursuing architecture, her studies themselves defined a clean and precise aesthetic of her work - from the basic shape to the final colour scheme. The main theme of the artist's work is people and their diverse stories, connected to her own memories and experiences. A frequent motif is the face, which depicts the journey of finding faith in oneself the completed shape, the completed thought reflected in the face. Family motifs play another large role, the search for home and peace in other people and places. The artist likes to use a pastel colour palette, which evokes a sense of peace whose implementation can be felt in her work.
Her main medium is painting, but also installation and creating backdrops for various commissions, as well as specializes in decorative works or large-scale wall painting. He has worked on film sets in Prague, Budapest and Germany. For Artmat she created small ceramic badges with a face motif. Each piece is an original.
