Eva Bystrianská absolvovala Střední umělecko-průmyslovou školu v Uherském Hradišti. Aktuálně (od roku 2020) studuje na Institutu tvůrčí fotografie v Opavě. Od roku 1990 je na volné noze jako grafická designérka, přičemž se věnuje převážně tvorbě knih, výstavních expozic, vizuálnímu stylu kulturních akcí a fotografii. Od roku 1995 působí v Jihlavě.
Eva vyrostla na třineckém sídlišti obklopeném horami a kouřícími komíny železáren, na zahradách svých babiček i v lese nedaleko česko-slovensko-polských hranic. Fotografovat začala s nástupem digitální technologie a fotografování se (vedle natírání stěn a starých židlí) pro ni brzy stalo jakousi jinou formou vysněného malířství.
Subjektivní krajiny z cyklu Hledání Velké nádhery, které najdete v aktuální edici Artmatu, volně vznikají od roku 2017. Hledání, které začalo na jihlavském sídlišti a v okolní městské divočiny, se všude přesouvá spolu s autorkou. Cyklus začala Eva fotit v období, které pro ni bylo poněkud „nepřehledné“ - na dlouhých procházkách, a i v tom nejpodivnějším terénu a nejhorším počasí, vždy objevila „něco nádherného“. Byly to spíš liduprázdné industriální krajiny, ve kterých hlavní roli hrálo světlo a jakési „transcendentní“ detaily. Některé z těchto prvních fotografií se objevily na výstavě v Oblastní galerii Vysočiny v Jihlavě v roce 2018.
Eva začala nosit foťák neustále s sebou, přičemž hodně fotek vzniká v rámci běžných pochůzek - například cestou na nákup… Jindy, když je dobré světlo, se jde ven jen tak toulat a hledat. Autorčino „nepřehledné“ období dávno pominulo, ale cyklus vzniká dál. Teď už jen chodí a kouká. Eva se často vrací na dříve objevená zajímavá místa, jestli se něco právě dnes nepřihodí. Na jejích fotografiích se v současné době stále více objevují lidé a náznaky jejich (pro nás neznámých) příběhů.

Eva Bystrianská graduated from the Secondary School of Arts and Crafts in Uherské Hradiště. Since 2020 she has been studying at the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava. Since 1990, she has been working as a freelance graphic designer, focusing on books, exhibitions, the visual style of cultural events and photography. Since 1995 she works and lives in Jihlava.
Eva grew up in the Třinec housing estate surrounded by mountains and smoking chimneys of ironworks, in her grandmothers' gardens and in the woods near the Czech-Slovak-Polish border. She began to photograph alongside the rise of digital technology, and photography (in addition to painting walls and old chairs) soon became for her another form of painting media that she was always dreaming of.
The subjective landscapes from the series The Search for Great Beauty, which you will find in the current edition of Artmat, have been freely created since 2017. The search, which began in the Jihlava housing estate and in the surrounding urban wilderness, is moving everywhere with the author. With the photographing of the cycle Eva started at a time that was a bit "confusing" for her - on long walks, and even in the strangest terrain and worst weather, she always discovered "something beautiful". It were rather deserted industrial landscapes, in which light and some "transcendent" details played a major role. Some of these first photographs appeared at an exhibition in the Vysočina Regional Gallery in Jihlava in 2018.
Eva started carrying the camera with her all the time, and a lot of photos are taken as part of regular errands - for example, on the way to shop… Other times, when the light is good, one goes out just to wander and look. The "confusing" period of the author is long gone, but the cycle continues. Now she's just walking and watching. Eva often returns to previously discovered interesting places if something does not happen today. At the present, people and hints of their (to us unknown) stories appear more and more in her photographs.
